Timothy L. Mullins
Biography

Tim Mullins has worked with Otten Consulting Group for nearly a decade and now serves as the firm's Vice President for Field Operations. During Mr. Mullins' tenure with OCG, he has inspected more than 4000 facilities in 22 states for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and related state guidelines, and has led inspection teams of up to twenty people on ADA Transition Plan assessments for nearly 250 public entities. His leadership and knowledge of accessibility guidelines and construction administration make him one of the foremost ADA consultants in the nation.

Tim also oversees the firm's technical writing division, supervising the development of ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan reports using Otten Consulting Group's proprietary ADA PlanWare software program.

Mr. Mullins has earned the Building Code Accessibility/Usability Specialist designation from the International Conference of Building Officials and is a Registered Accessibility Specialist for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. As an ADA consultant, Tim worked closely with nearly fifty design firms during Houston Independent School District's recent bond renovation program, providing field observation and design support for accessibility compliance as the owner's representative.

Mr. Mullins also facilitates workshops and on-site training to maintenance and construction departments regarding accessible construction and the proper installation of accessible features in the built environment.
